ereaderink (https://ereader.ink) is a free, volunteer-run service that sends fanfiction updates to your Kindle. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell or share your information for advertising.
What we store
- Your email address, so we can send you sign-in links.
- Your Send-to-Kindle address, so we can deliver the stories you ask for.
- The stories you track and how many chapters we've sent you, so we know when your Kindle is behind.
- A delivery log (which story, when, and whether it worked), kept for 90 days to enforce daily limits and fix problems.
- Rate-limit counters that include your IP address or email address, which stop abuse of the sign-in form. They are deleted within 2 days.
We use one cookie, which keeps you signed in. We don't use analytics, ads or tracking cookies.
Emails we send
We only send email you asked for: sign-in links to your email address, and story deliveries to your Send-to-Kindle address. We send no newsletters or marketing. If an address bounces or reports our mail as spam, we put it on a do-not-email list and stop sending to it.
Who else handles your data
- Cloudflare hosts the website and its database.
- Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES) sends our emails.
- Amazon Kindle receives the books we send to your Send-to-Kindle address, under Amazon's own privacy policy.
To build your books we download the public pages of the stories you track from the site they're posted on. Chapter text is kept only while someone tracks the story.
Your choices
You can stop tracking any story, or delete your account, at any time from your dashboard. Deleting your account removes your email, Kindle address, tracked stories and delivery log right away. Copies may remain in our hosting provider's database backups for up to 30 days before they expire.
You need to be at least 13 years old to use ereaderink.
